We'll always have Paris

Today or rather yesterday I started my journey to Casablanca, Morocco. It's been a whorl-wind of plane flights and changing time zones but I made it in one piece.

My grandmother spent months putting old family photos into albums for my father and his brothers. As a kid I spent hours looking through those albums at the old black and whites and sepia toned images as well as a few hand painted photographs. She not only saved the formal portraits photos but newspaper clippings and candid moments from the 1880's.

This is my great great grandmother Isabelle Hudson sitting for her high school graduation portrait, she hangs in my parent's upstairs hallway.

Beerfest 2012

I had my first commercial/advertising/they wanted candid shots too shoot down in New York City last weekend. It was an interesting shoot and a good experience for me, it didn't hurt that the venue was beautiful, I'm such a sucker for old buildings.
