I'm in Michigan!

My car is packed, I'm not yet in my apartment, I'm not yet unpacked, and I'm yet working but I'm excited. The town I'm living in didn't show up in my GPS and I think it's smaller than my home town, didn't think that was possible. St. Charles is beautiful and not far from Saginaw. I can't wait to start.

Home only to Leave

I packed everything up from school brought it home reorganized it and am preparing to repack it all in my little clown car to head out to Saginaw, MI for six months. So for the time being I'm home, trying to get everything together before I head out in the short amount of time I have. Watch out Saginaw, here I come!

Tightening Up an Edit

I've been staring at this computer screen for the past three hours moving images around trying to get a good tight edit for my story on Catherine for the Eddie Adams Workshop and here's what I've come up with.

Which one?

Moving Catherine in

Catherine is back in her house, not because Fannie Mae gave her house back but because she is following Take Back the Land's mantra of "Housing is a Human Right". It was a fairly smooth move back in and I stayed with Catherine after the movers left and then visited her again in the evening. Here are my two favorite shots.

On another note, I'm graduating in twelve days and will be traveling to Saginaw, Michigan for a six month internship there. Come December who knows where I'll be or what'll I'll be doing. At least I know that I will continue to shoot.

Babyshower....almost

Yesterday Catherine and I went shopping for her youngest daughters baby shower, which is today. She's going to be having a little girl. Around 3pm I hope to be surrounded by Catherine's family and friends, up to my ears in bibs, blankets, and diapers. Here's some photos I taken this week, but there will be more to come!
