Isabelle Hudson

My grandmother spent months putting old family photos into albums for my father and his brothers. As a kid I spent hours looking through those albums at the old black and whites and sepia toned images as well as a few hand painted photographs. She not only saved the formal portraits photos but newspaper clippings and candid moments from the 1880's.

This is my great great grandmother Isabelle Hudson sitting for her high school graduation portrait, she hangs in my parent's upstairs hallway.
