Cropping done well

While reading today's paper I noticed that the sports section used one of my photos but at first I didn't recognize it because it was cropped. Usually I get pretty mad when I see that the page layout people crop a photo. Today it was different. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the way they cropped it made it look better; which is what cropping is supposed to do.

I think I liked the name "Saginaw"on the wall and didn't noticed where the better photo was.
