Here is my recent story that I've finished editing with the help of friends and professors. I'm afraid of some repetition but I think I need a couple of days to separate myself from the project.

This past weekend I traveled with the Aquinas Boxing team to Ohio and here's a taste of what's to come.

Cincinnati is coming

I'm getting ready to leave for Cincinnati, Ohio tomorrow morning to complete my story about the three high school boxers. I'm very nervous because I feel like so much of the story is riding on this one trip. I hope I don't royally mess this up. I have the potential for many story telling moments that will bring this story together and possibly be a great portfolio piece. Hopefully I can do this. My parents tell me to be more positive "I will do this". I'm going to turn into the little engine that could....I will do this, I think I can, I will do this, I think I can. Can't I?

Week 8 Wrap-Up

As I wrap up my project on Vertex, I'm trying to do more found portraits and the interaction between the people who go to the club. I've been looking at Shannon Taggart's portrait series to get some ideas to incorporate slower shutter speeds as an element to the photograph.
